Core Values

Core Values shape the work of any organization.  At Sandy Hill the following Core Values shape our leadership effort.  It is out of the following Core Values that all of our, prayer, worship and ministry flow. 

Prayer- Build an intimacy with God as our primary relationship.
     ·  Meditation upon God and His Word
     ·  Intercession

A Biblical Worldview- Create a Biblical Worldview through Bible-centered preaching and
     teaching.

Worship- Create a life-style of relevant, extravagant worship.
           1 Chronicles 16:29, Matthew 18:20, Psalms 100, Hebrews 13:15

Community- Foster life change together through:

Stewardship- Develop the spiritual disciplines and habits of generous 
     giving, as well as wise spending:

Discipleship- Observing Jesus’ command to make disciples, develop in
     each other the model of Christ for:

       ·  A Sense of God’s Call for ministry
       ·  Servanthood

Excellence- In all things, start from the assumption that God deserves our
     best.

Evangelism- Seek every opportunity to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, 
     because people matter to God.

Hospitality- Develop a culture of grace, welcome, care, and peace-making 
     to all:
       ·  Inside the church  
       ·  Outside the church
       ·  To the visitor as well as the member

Spiritual Gifts- Reinforce in every believer that they are ministers for
     Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit:
       ·  To work in the areas of their Spiritual Gifts 
       ·  To use their God-given Talents
