Meet the Elders
Elders play an important role at Sandy Hill providing leadership, oversight and Bible Teaching. There are three elders at Sandy Hill. In the space below you will meet the elders and be able to find out some important background information about us.
Dale Weaver serves as the Pastor of Sandy Hill Community Church. Dale and his wife, Ida, have been at Sandy Hill for over 41 years. They have three adult children and 10 grandchildren. Besides pastoring, Dale enjoys reading and being outdoors. He loves to hike, play golf, play with his grandchildren, enjoys football, and enjoys studying and teaching the Bible. His dream for Sandy Hill is that it will continue to be a place where the unchurched are welcomed...where people live life as Jesus taught us to live.

Dave Klingensmith, Jr., Associate Pastor, serves as the Minister of Worship and Youth. Dave has been at Sandy Hill most of his life, first coming when he was six. Dave is a member of Sandy Hill and came on staff in 2003, first as a part-time Worship Minister, and then full-time in 2006, taking on the additional role of Youth Pastor. He has been married to his beautiful wife Bel since 1999 and they have a son, Isaiah. Dave loves music, teaching the Bible, football, good movies, and playing with Isaiah. His dream for Sandy Hill is that it will always be a church of faith, hope, and love...a place where people can join together and share the infinite love of Jesus.
