Building Christs Kingdom

Communion

/files/Dale's Folder/Image Folder/Communion Image.jpgWe believe that through communion we renew our covenant with God and with each other.  We remember - and participate in - the life and death of Jesus Christ until he returns.  Communion is reserved for those who have surrendered their lives to the Lordship of Jesus.

At Sandy Hill Community Church, we take communion five times a year, four during Sunday morning services and one during our special service leading up to Easter Sunday.  The special service leading up to
Easter Sunday incorporates a voluntary footwashing of
another  believer - an act of service prompted by the
example of Jesus as he washed his disciples' feet in
                                                          John 13.
