Meet the Elders of SHCC:

Elders play an important role at Sandy Hill providing leadership, oversight and Bible Teaching.  There are five elders at Sandy Hill.  In the space below you
  will meet
the elders and be able to find out some important background information about us.

Dave Klingensmith, Jr., Pastor, serves as the Minister of Worship and Youth. Dave has been at Sandy Hill most of his life, first coming when he was six. Dave is a member of Sandy Hill and came on staff in 2003, first as a part-time Worship Minister, and then full-time in 2006, taking on the additional role of Youth Pastor.  He has been married to his beautiful wife Bel since 1999 and they have a son, Isaiah. Dave loves music, teaching the Bible, football, good movies, and playing with Isaiah. His dream for Sandy Hill is that it will always be a church of faith, hope, and love...a place where people can join together and share the infinite love of Jesus.

Bob McGinnis and his wife, Elaine have two daughters; both married and know the Lord.   Heather Wise (Stephen) is our oldest  daughter, and Melissa Kelly  (Jay) is our youngest.  Bob & Elaine have three grandsons, Wyatt, Matthew and Jonah from Melissa and Jay. Bob is retired from Arcelor Mittal in Coatesville, Pa.  Bob has been in Christ since 1979 and Elaine since 1981. Bob enjoys sports, woodworking, oil/acrylic painting and photography.  Elaine enjoys home keeping, watching Bob play sports and is the prayer warrior in our family.  My vision for Sandy Hill is that of a community, a family of believers that have the same, or like-minded desire to serve Christ and our community.

Adam Ray grew up on a small farm near Glenmoore, Pa. He graduated from Downingtown High School.  He & his wife Marnie have 2 children & are active members of Sandy Hill.  Adam has worked with teens at several churches before coming to Sandy Hill where he still continues to serve as a youth leader. He enjoys the outdoors, most sports, & his favorite food is food!!  Adam's desire for Sandy Hill is that we continue to grow in unity & deepen our relationship & growth in our precious Savior JESUS CHRIST.

Bill Paff is a family man who enjoys time with wife and 3 children (son and 2 daughters).  He works in the computer department of a regional convenience store chain.  He is pursuing a calling to have churches and ministries work together more, which includes growing his skillset at project management, strategic planning and helping people find and pursue their own talents.

He is a passionate member of the Sandy Hill prayer team and believes prayer should be a supportive and integral part to all Sandy Hill efforts.

For a past time he writes and plays music and enjoys being a part of the Sandy Hill worship team.  God willing, these will someday be far more than past time or passion.

Tom Maris is married to Jennifer, and they have seven children.  Their parenting experience has been somewhat unique, in that they have twin sons (Ryan & Roger) and quintuplets (Joanna, Paige, Alexis, Amanda, & Matthew).  Tom has worked for QVC for many years, he enjoys running, and is a big Philadelphia Flyers fan.  Despite the many family-related activities and responsibilities, Tom and Jennifer are very active at Sandy Hill.  Each of them serves in multiple ministries and are always willing to pitch in wherever there is a need.
